Lashings of Bicarbonate of Soda wiped throughout and always keep a tub of it (open!!!) in the fridge anyway.

Couple of slices of lemon in a bowl of very hot water, leave in the fridge for about 15 minutes or so..longer if smell really as bad as you say.
Also great if your microwave needs a good clean, do as before and microwave on high for 5 minutes, microwave smells great and all the gunk cleans of easily.

Get some fresh ground coffee stick in a pop sock preferably a new or clean one and leave it in the back of the fridge works a treat smell gone .
