digital camera help

i am planing a new digital camera but dont know any thing about them.does any 1 have any recommendations of any?cheers
max i will pay is 170.had 1 years ago but when u hit the buttom 3 secs later it would take the pics.so i am wanting 1 that takes e pics strate away.

There is another thread on her for almost the same thing but have a loook at Canon Ixus 100is or Panasonix Lumix DMC FS11- they are both only are £120 ish and easy to use, good cameras for run of the mill holiday snaps etc.
