Does nobody have any interest in having a boat trip to Portsoy next year?
Maybe start at Scrabster, and visit en route?
I posted this yesterday - no takers, yet I'd have thought it would have been a lot of fun.

Sounds fun indeed but I would have to be convinced of the skill of the crew, the captain especially!

Good luck with your quest.

You'd be in the safe hands of Able Seamen!

Have been thinking about hitching a lift on one of those already going. Got a wee boatie ourselves, but it's hardly old and might let the side down.

Can it not be 'camouflaged'?

On behalf of the unknowing, especially those new to Caithness, I'll ask: Where is Portsoy? I think I have read that acameron goes fishing there, but maybe I am confusing posts.

It is certainly a picturesque little village. I would love to meet up with the org team there.
My boating skills don't extent beyond a canoe, not a safe craft for the North Sea. So, if you should register an entry I'll see what I can do to lead a cheering section from the shore.

Have you not read about the event next year or about the Fortuna?

I'd like a bunch of us to get on a boat and do the trip. How to needs some thought and lots of suggestions, plus advice from someone with knowledge of local boats.
