This is not about being depressed. It's just a poem that i think speaks to a lot of mothers out there.

I don't think the poem needs elaborating on.
It speaks for it's self.

Why does anything appeal to anyone?
Why does one person like fish and another doesent?
Why does someone like dogs and the other prefer cats?
I could go on and on.

I think what mrlennie is trying to say is something along the lines of 'What is your interpretation of this poem?' I think he has trouble relating to it and wants to understand its relevance to somebody who understands its true beauty. mrlennie is a layered simpleton, once you understand him he makes sense.
