I was out using my camcorder yesterday at thurso beach and saw this (see video). Any guesses as to what it is?

My friend said it was a big box of orange tictacs but he could be wrong. ;) I think it might be something used for a boat race?

Probably an old fishbox off a boat. Crayola might be able to confirm it, she's an expert on old fishboxes. :)

It looks like a flotation tank off a boat,may be from the rowing boat that was washed ashore at cape wrath at the weekend,

Looks like one of those big 1m square fish boxes. It'll wash up at Dunnet beach soon enough.

Only just looked at this. Er, I'd have thought anything in high viz colour, semi-floating around the harbour might be worth the Coast Guard investigating. Has anyone reported it?

looks to me the markers for the ANCHORS ......for VOE CHIEF and the use a 60-metre barge, to anchor.......in the bay when it comes in thurso bay ........
