This is an old image of the Double cluster of stars in the constellation of Perseus.
I've done a bit of reprocessing to make it look a little more "artistic" because star clusters can look just a little bit,well like a lot of little dots.

Were the diffraction spikes in your version due to secondary mirror supports or were they added artificially?

Thanks Astroman,Its the best result of a star cluster photo that i've had,very pleased with it,especially the CORRECT star colours that came through, although its obviously of no interest to most people.

Not very often you get the focus just perfect.
