Balnakeil Sunset

planned where to go last night and after persuading hubby we took a "quick" run to Balnakeil Bay at Durness (4 hr round trip & 1hr there)!! well worth it and not disappointed by the sunset. When we 1st arrived there was hardly a soul around but as the sun started to go down the beach came alive with tourists migrating towards the sea

Nice set. I admire your dedication but wonder what Dunnet beach might have looked like at the same time!!

its not about dedication its about spontaneity ;) hubby asked where I wanted to go and since I've been wanting to go to Durness for a sunset for some time thats where we headed and had some quality time together on the way there and back without any kids, dogs and tv/computers being a distraction

I can go to Dunnet beach any old day and hubby would probably tell me to go by myself rather than come along too
