My congratulations to the organisers of the event held in Thurso over the last two weeks showcasing local art.

It must have been one of the biggest art events held in Caithness over the years.

It was really good to see such a wide range of styles and media on show too, including the glass work and sculpture.

I always look forward to the exhibition and this year was a bumper one.

The organisers should be applauded, it's one hell of a job!
