Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but here goes.
This is not for me but for a friend.
Looking for furnished accomodation in Thurso to rent from the middle of October to the middle of December for a group of 4.
Can anyone help me please?

There is a sign in the old 99p shop about a house for rent in Thurso.:)

I think you would be doing very well to get a 2 month lease. The vast majority of landlords/ladies would be looking for a min of 6 months.

When I was trying to rent a house with 3 friends, we were told (letting agancy and highland council) that we could not have a house together as we all had different last name! Apparantly you the house need a licence - the police, fire service, and two department from highland council need to inspect the property!

I can't get my head around it!

Anyway, perhaps your best bet is to get a holiday rental. It may be a little more expensive but atleast everyone will be together.
