Hello,

The regular Sunday quiz is now beginning, 24 hours early so that acameron can watch the World Cup final.

Sassylass is in charge tonight and is calling the world to her class room.
See you in a bit.

Newcomers need to register, but it takes just a minute. Go to the orange top line and click on Caithness.org, then down to chat room and follow the directions. Eventually go to the quiz room. We will welcome you with open arms.

Canuck

Kingletter, hello. That's a very interesting flag (I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to flags) - may I ask what country it is?

Hi my Canadian pals, it is great chatting with you. Isn't Kingetter's flag the flag of New Brunswick?

Ricco

I thought it was either Newfoundland or N.B. :D

Oh, wild. Very folkey. Take a look at the Great Big Sea web site. The music is quite good. BTW - I'm not a newfie, before you ask.

Kingetter

Just a Caithness loon who has been nearly every where man. I worked on the Great Lakes for 10 months on a Scottish Ship sailing up and down the Lakes from Chicago to St Johns and all ports in between

Not really I was a Merchant Seaman, and went where my ship went, in 1958 its happened to be the Great Lakes, best 10 months of my life I have to say.
Canuck girls ARE nice to young Scotls lads [disgust]

That would certainly be an experience I'd say. scale has all to do with it I know, but from over here in the UK, it is hard to imagine travelling so far, by water, inside countries. Kinda makes Manchester Ship Canal like a wee burn by comparison.

Oh and yes, I imagine you might have been well looked after by 'Canuck girls'. You look after any of them too?

Now Kingetter, that is another story, not to be discussed on an open message board, and I am too much of a gentleman to kiss and tell [smirk]

Golach, please save my reputation. Tell them that canuck girls are ladies. Well, Queen's girls are ladies and I am a graduate of that Canadian university.
