i started myself on guitar, with the help of a book and the internet. i get lessons now through the school with John Newton. Bass i just played about, using the internet for tabs. Piano, was taught by Margaret Matthews, then Nicola Calder, then Mrs Barry, then Kate Bain, of Kate Bain and Candy.

I haven't got an ego big enough to call myself a musician, so I can't really comment. OK, then, I picked it all up from Michael J Fox while rockin' out at the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance. Being a left-handed guitarist, the first one I ever played belonged to Steve Lewis, a black African-American from Illinois who once played in Barracuda if memory serves me well while he was stationed at the U.S. Base. A thoroughly nice guy, I wonder where he is now. Probably playing the blues explodong bars of Chicago, no doubt.

You taught me one song? On bass!

You got me into music, but you didn't teach me how to play.

Better looking? Ha

andy gunn huh, I did a gig on bass with him at a nights notice once. Good fun was had chopping up blues & some stuff on his tele while he played acoustic to just about nobody

Andy Murray, not seen him in long enough either, went into Foxes thinking he was on one night to find another Andy (Duncan) & ended up with the odg fill in gig with Hunky Dory. I spied the dude & enquired
"Andy",
"yes",
"Andy Murray??",
"nah Andy Duncan"
"Are you................"
"yes" said I

anyhow I ramble, you mentioned some familiar names there BTW AG's album "Flipflop Kinetics" is pretty good
