The World Pipe Band Championships Results

Well it is that time of year where the World's Pipe Bands all meet up and compete for the title of being crowned The World Champions any way here is the results for the grade 1 Pipe Bands the elite of elite.

in first place was :- St. Lawrence O'Toole Pipe Band /Dublin/ (The 2010 World Pipe Band Champions)

Second was my old pipe band :- Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band /N.Ireland/

Third came :- Boghall and Bathgate /Scotland/

Fourth :- Simon Fraser University Pipe Band /Canada/

Fifth was :- Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band /Scotland/

Sixth was :- Scottish Power Pipe Band /Scotland/

the best Drum Corps title went to none other than :- St. Lawrence O'Toole Pipe Band /Dublin/

yeah it turned out to be a good 17-18 degres today down in glasgow, it was hot and was the best worlds ever by far the crowds were amazing and the weather was brilliant so what more could you ask for lol
