Hi, I'm looking for info on the marriage of James coghill and Ellen Mowat in 1908 (James was my grand father and was killed in Arras, France in 1917)

James Coghill, tailor, bachelor, aged 23, married Ellen Jane Mowat, spinster, merchant, aged 33(sic), at Culduthel Rd, Inverness on Dec 26th 1908.

Ellen (or Helen as she was registered) died at Greenland, Dunnet following childbirth on Dec 21st 1909. Her age at death was corrrectly registered as 37.
She was born Helen Jean Mowat at Keiss on Oct 22nd 1872.

James Coghill, tailor, widower (killed at Arras in 1917) later married Williamina(sic) Bruce, spinster, domestic servant, aged 30, on 17th December 1915. She is listed as his wife, living in Sinclair St, Thurso, on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site.

Williamina died from lung cancer in 1947 without remarrying. She was living in Brabster Street, Thurso at the time.
