Anyone read the article in the front page on the shutting of Thurso mart?

Jamie Stone was shocked?????????? He obviously doesn't no much about the auction industry or the company that actually heads the mart - Elphinstone Group (property developers)!!!!!

Be a great site for a supermarket, land extends from the train station entrance right up to the High School - maybe they could get all their deliveries by train as well;)

aye but last year i think tesco had pretty much secured a deal on the land but it fell through because they couldn't get planning permission like!!!
