Is it a Bank Holiday today?

It says on my calander that it's a Bank Holiday in Scotland. Are the shops and banks open as normal today?

Just been into Thurso, Post Office SORTING DEPOT is open as usal, so is Tesco.

Was a bit early to say about the other shops, and I don't know about the Wick side.

Cruise liner visitng here today and the town is heaving with visitors
Banks - OPEN
Shops - CLOSED
Post Office - OPEN
Sorting Office - OPEN

Continental market - newly arrived today, OPEN for all the visitors from cruiser, folk going on/off the ferry and locals, absolutely packed.

The Post Office is Closed in Thurso Today.

It is the Royal Mail Sorting Office that is open.
