Help needed re House Martin chick

When on a walk earlier this evening we found one sitting in the middle of the road so moved it off the road thinking it's Mum would come back for it.
Sadly it was still there when we checked a wee while ago so took it home as frost is forecast.

Can anyone give advice on what to do next? I can't see any injuries but not sure why it didn't fly away?

Put it in a warm box Liz and if possible find some insects to feed it with, use a pair of eye brow tweasers or similar, failing that call The RSPB for advice.

Cheers Lizz. Did put the wee chick in a box last night and kept it in the front door. Unfortunately, couldn't catch any insects.

Put it back in the field this morning and on checking later it had gone!:D
