Does anyone know who sells stone garden ornaments in Caithness these days?

I used to buy them at Matthew Cormacks in Ormlie a few years back and before that from Mr and Mrs Oxley at John O'Groats.

Haven't seen anywhere selling lots at reasonable prices for a while now but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.

Have you tried Woodside Garden Centre in Castletown?

I'm sure they sell stone ornaments.:D

CLB did have a lot of garden ornaments last time I was in.
Dont know if any were stone though!
Sheep, ducks and pigs to name a few and a couple of birdbaths.
Their homeware is worth a look too.
Nice glasses and woven baskets as well.

Oops
Sorry Catherine Nicol
I have turned your thread into an ad for the CLB!

PS Dont work or have a business interest in the place...just shop there a few times a year!
Saw some nice stone carved items at the county show... local quarry...I got info and a price list as I want a bit of stone for the unit beside the cooker (blonde..hot pots..senario) but the paper went to papier machie and cant remember what their name was!

I think that Serendipity in Thurso had garden ornaments last time I was in.
