a womans best friend is dimonds so a little gift now and then wont hurt.also lots of love and respect goes along way too:D

Loyalty, respect and love. Unfortunately all the qualities many men lack!
Always check she has a heart first .. ;)

Treat her with respect, and don't take her for granted.
Look her in the eye when she's talking to you (unless you happen to be driving at the time, of course!)
Really listen to what she's saying to you, and don't let it go in one ear and out the other.
Don't act like you're "He who must be obeyed at all times". There has to be give and take - on both sides.
Praise her efforts, large and small. Whether it's a nice meal she's cooked, making herself look good for you, or whatever!
If she looks pretty in that new dress, or with that new hairdo - tell her!
Try and be sensitive to her feelings and needs. Make her feel that she matters to you.
Surprise her with a small gift when least expected - even a bunch of flowers from the supermarket can make a woman feel special!
Cook a meal sometimes - especially if you both work. Help with dishes and other household chores too, when you can. We really do appreciate that! :)
And finally - love her, and don't be afraid to tell her that you do!

Seriously, tho, it would have to be 1) respect for her 2) sense of humour 3) capability. There's a fourth category, but I'd probably be suspended for voicing it!
