Garage for storage

Can anyone recommend where i can get a garage for storing a car for a few months or possibly longer? Something not too expensive. Would asking the council be best?

that depends on if you class over £40 per month for a tiny damp lockup cheap

We have rented garages from both the council ...Castletown, so damp the car interior was becoming mouldy, transferred to bayview terrace. Ramp into garage very steep and door mechanism in the wrong place so struggling to get the car in. Pentland housing one we have now is one of their renovated ones and the car fits in ok, and it is not damp, but the older ones are really damp and in bad repair.

Always worth an ask, you can always refuse if you don`t like what you are offered.

The council also has garage sites for rent in some areas...
You have to put your own garage on it (and are supposed to remove it once you give the site up) could be worth asking about as well!
