It's three years today since we gave up smoking .:Razz

I feel so chuffed that I'd just thought I would mention it and share my joy with the cyber world. :Razz

That is quite an achievement. What are you going to do to celebrate

Think how much money you have saved yourself over the last three years

Enough to buy something nice for the wife to celebrate your joint achievement ;) [lol]

Well Done both of you.

I didn't have a cigar, that's for sure.;)

When we first gave up we put the money we would have spent to one side and in no time at all Mr's M treated herself to a new dishwasher.:Razz

Unfortunately the savings soon became part of the family budget, but I don't think I would like to try and afford to smoke now and I wonder how we managed it for over thirty years.:confused

I started smoking at age 17 years when overseas with the U.S. Marines. The cigarettes were free and it seemed everyone else was smoking. When I returned to the states I learned the cost for cigarettes I would have to pay. I quit and never tried smoking again. Have not missed it. I commend anyone who gives up the habbit. It's expensive and should not be necessary.

Well done Kevin, Dawn and Oldmarine on giving up the 'weed'.

I have never been a smoker (tried it once and hated it!) but know how hard it can be to give up.
