You have £100 pound to see any band or artist from the present or the past.Who would ye think would be worth the money?

Ma choices would be...........

U2
The Who
The Rolling Stones
The Beatles wi' Paul mcCartney,Ringo Starr and a backing band. Its no the same without the total Fab Four ,but they always said it would take a million pound to get a gig,so a £100 don't seem that bad!!!!

Led Zepplin, without a doubt. Though it could also be Pink Floyd, who I saw at their very last gig in the UK - fantastic!

I wouldn't pay a hundred quid to see anyone to be honest.

Springsteen is the only artist I'd pay more than twenty quid nowadays.
The Beatles are sadly no longer all here. I've seen Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks umpteen times. The Stones have got more than enough money and I hear, are past their best. The Levellers gig so much I'd probably still get in for a tenner. The Who? Well given Pete Townsend's further faux pas this week I've better things to do than watch him.

If it was U2 I'd give my daughter the ticket. Maybe Sinatra with a full swing band behind him. Yes, if it took a hundred to resurrect ole blue eyes I'd stump it up for him. Perhaps the finale could be 'That's Life' and at the end he'd disappear again in a puff of smoke, taking my 'undred quid with 'im.

The Beatles (just to see what the hype was)

Hype? What hype?
buy a few albums. Start with Revolver. Then remember they were the first.
Hype??? you made me smile, a lot. Beatles songs will still sound fresh in a hundred years time. They have already enraptured two subsequent generations - the discerning ones anyway.

See, I don't really find The Beatles all that amazing. Yeah, they have some good songs, but like any other band, they have a lot of garbage.

Just like any other band if you ask me.

I'd pay £100 to go see Led Zep though.

The only really poor tracks on Beatles albums were 'Revolution Nine' and 'Yellow Submarine' Almost everything else rocks, chills, entrances, enthralls or entertains. The vocals, the musicianship, the ambiance everything.
This was forty years ago remember. We are still talking about it. Enough said.
