I met a chap outside the shop today who was doing the LEJOG on a bicycle. Nothing special there . Kindred spirit and all that, we got into a shared experience conversation but I realised this guy was doing it with a prosthetic leg. Humbled, surprised and admired in equal proportions, it never surprises me now the spirit of human endurance that passes us by on our own doorstep.
