PHEW......Found him

Last seen in Whitehouse park near the cat/dog protection house. He is wearing a red collar with a bell so has very little chance of catching food for himself and is also wearing a pinky coloured harness for walks as he's an indoor cat.

He is just visiting with family so is not from Caithness and has no idea about his surroundings.

He has a tag with his address but I will return him myself if found. He is not approachable and is very timid and scared of strangers and will run away or try and hide.

I feel crap, my maw left him in the hallway and I was at the shop so when I opened the door to go in ma house the cat made a bid for freedom.

Aw it's not your fault Octane.

I really don't think he will have gone far due to him being so timid and in a new area.
He could be hiding quite near to your house.
Are there any outbuildings etc which he could be hiding under? It would surprise what tiny spaces cats can fit into.
I would suspect he may have bolted, panicked and looked for somewhere to hide.
Really, really hope you find him soon.

Hope he's found soon. Wearing a harness he should be easily spotted. Was it a safety harness and collar? If it was, then good, if he gets stuck on anything he should be easily freed.

Hope you cat comes back soon, meanwhile call and rattle the food packet or tin and if you can, leave the door open a little and he might creep in when it is quiet.....fingers crossed,, but I am sure he will come back.

YEEEEE HAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Big thanks to Patricia at the cat/dog protection in whitehouse park for lending a humane cat trap cage to help lure him into safety.

But nice tip teenybash, been all round the area shaking a wee bottle with his food in it. Then I heard a faint bell getting closer so managed to get hold of my Maw to come and get him.

Was at the expense of multiple lacerations to her hands as he panic'ed when seeing other people and cars going by but she managed to get him in his cage and back indoors safely.

Donated a large collapsable dog cage to Patricia to say thanks for the help.

Right Im off to relax with a beer now!!!!!

PHEW :D
