I thought I'd give a little update on gigs and and general news for anyone interested.
We've sacked the 'The'. Recruited a friend as singer makin us a six piece entirely from Caithness. And have started stitching tartan hems on our clothes.
After sometime away from everything we've finally finished our EP 'The Band That Cried Wolf' (which is available to listen to on the myspace) and returned to playing live so far supporting with The Law, The Ray Summers and John Power with a few more in the pipeline.
July 17th - McChuills, Glasgow w/The Dirtys Suits and The Hardy Souls
August 17th - Dukes Corner (Old Doghouse), Dundee w/TBC
August 20th - PJ Molloys, Dunfermline w/Tango In The Attic
Septmber 11th -Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh w/Ok Social Club
Hopefully there will be an Edinbugh gig inbetween the two August ones as it's during the Festival. If you're around it'd be nice to have your support.
We feature on Jim Gellatlys New Music Podcast his week. http://jimgellatly.com/2010/06/30/90/
And he will be featuring something from the EP on his new Radio Show a week Sunday. I'll keep you posted. Check both out if you have a spare moment.
Thats about it apart from we're in the process of writing and recording new demos and renovating an old croft to practice in somewhere just beyond Watten. And if anyone would like to take us to Thurso for a gig we'd like to come!
