Technical Question

http://www.itv.com/wales/the-vale-of-sorrow-the21250/

I have a friend on another forum that wants to copy the programme in the above link so that she can send it to her relative in Australia on a disc.

The friend in Australia was unable to open the link and watch the programme.

Can this be done? ( I am sure we must have a techno orger with the answer)

Regards.

As for downloading the programme it's unlikely, unless it's got really crappy DRM, however you could:

Play the programme your side and record it with a screen capture application, then send that file to the person.
Use a UK proxy or tunnel traffic via a UK server, I've done this in the past when I was abroad for iPlayer.

However. both of those are rather technical.

On a more political note, you can blame people like Apple et al, RIAA and MPAA lobbyists for pushing unfair DRM on people. Yet people still buy their massively encumbered products, with politicians and media still believing what they're spoon fed.
