Willow Cuttings

What is the best time of year to take cuttings from willow trees ? A neighbour has asked for cuttings but wasn't sure if this was time to take them.:cool:

Best time to take cuttings would be spring just when comming into leaf, but willows are so brilliant at rooting that if you take cuttings push them about 6ins into the ground they should be fine, don't forget to give water
daily. Iv'e had fantastic results with willow . Good Luck:Razz
