Is there anything happening in Caithness? Haven't seen anything advertised.

Parade outside the Royal British Legion Club Thurso at 9pm Saturday 26th, lowering the flag with the Pipe Band.

Parade was held at 2100 before Miss Anne Dunnett, Lord-Lieutenant of Caithness. Dedication by the Revd. Ronnie Johnston. Parade comprised Colour Party and representatives of the Royal British Legion Scotland, and members of the Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps. The Armed Forces Week flag was lowered by service veterans and the Last Post was sounded. A good turn out of citizens were also in attendance.

Well done Caithness. The lads and lasses facing heat and IEDs are not forgotten by us.
