The men's singles victory went to John Donald Budge at Wimbledon in 1937.
Although Don Budge was born in USA his father was from Caithness and incidentally he played for Rangers in Glasgow.
Now that the Tennis season is here, can we hear more about John Donald Budge ? Perhaps our new Nwicker10 can take this up and add some more information.
