Armed Forces Day - 26th June

Is there any events up here for armed forces day this year :D

Strange, I haven't heard of anything so far. Maybe I missed it??

Its a real shame if there is nothing up, i know that there is something down in inverness. But it would be nice to see people up here supporting our armed forces and what they do and maybe get a good day out of it. Get the cadet forces involved etc

It would be good to show support for armed forces maybe too late for this year but there is always 2011 :lol:

Not strictly Armed Forces day but I am doing a bit of work with the RAF Benevolent Fund this year, its the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britian this year.

If anyone feels the need there is a good page for passing on any messages to the Veterans (or even have a dig at the Crabs if you were Green or Dark Blue .. ;)) at the following site .. www.myheartfeltthanks.com .. all messages will be passed onto the BoB Veterans in September on Batttle of Britian Sunday.
