Hi all...I'm not totally retired and delighted to be reporting for the org.
As with any journalist, I'm only as good as my contacts, so keep me posted.

Any news from exiles will be particularly welcome.

Many thanks for that. I'm looking forward to starting my new column, "Doanalsin's Diary", in the New Year. Got any ideas for a logo?

I want the bear!
but apart from that welcome and good luck...
first posting could be about the weather/post from south and lack of couriers??
as for a logo choose something local that means something to you!

so from June to December with no further org post/threads on the forums and you get your own section on the boards, I hope you keep the Diary a bit more active!!!

Right im going on silent strike too.....I want a section

Apart from that g/luck with yer venture and make sure your mentally prepared to be challenged and your postings ransacked and nitpicked by the copy/paste search engine specialists

Welcome to the org.

You will find plenty to write about here. The books have already been written....."Cuckoos nest" and "Lunatics take over the Asylum" springs to mind, but when we are playing nicely and keeping our toys in the pram, a better bunch of folkies you would never meet.

Pleased to hear your health issues have been addressed, and hope good health follows you into the New year.

Very pleased to welcome you to the org.

Having been away from Caithness since 1965, I have not kept up with the local news (until my recent discovery of caithness.org) and look forward to your postings. Did you write for the Groat ?
