Congratulations to all who braved the rain to see the Gala Queen crowned and the procession of floats etc.
I decided to leave early as I was soaked to the skin as were my kids, even with the addition of a brolly and rain jackets....:confused

Sorry didn't stay around...my poor bairns were soaked through...youngest fell asleep despite the Pipe Band...which was great by the way.

As i was watching it on telly, did anyone hear or better still go to the Deal or No Deal night held in Halkirk during the week for the gala
Couldnt make it but really fancied it out of curiosity how they would do it!

The Deal or No Deal was very good. Well organised and the lucky contestant finished up with £70.00.

Good light entertainment.

Played there with the Big Band, took till about midnight to iron my music dry again!
