Wherever it is, whatever it is, someone took a lot of time and effort to build it; and they were probably very proud of their accomplishment. Photographs like this should make us realise that most of us will never leave any physical monument to our ever having been.
IMHO the saying, 'a picture is worth a thousand words' is very apt.
