View Full Version : My little scheme.

I've had a wee idea, a little development plan.

Do a golf course type thing, big one like, maybe two. Throw in a few swanky hotels, a casino and a couple of restaurants on site.
Add into that a big marina thing fer yer boats 'n stuff with a load of exclusive waterside homes with berths fer yer big boats.

As part of the development we plan to expand the airport fer yer big lush private jets like and turn the harbour into the big marina thing. Amongst this we'll have the plush holiday homes and stuff and we'll link them with a new road set within the private grounds running from the waterfront via the airport upto the new super golf course at Riess.

I'd expect the development will create thousands of jobs and bring a much needed boost to the economy. We have already landbanked some estates and Lodges so we can also offer fishing experiences and the shooting of animals for the craic like. With this we can offer a well rounded Highland experience to our punters clients.
Our investors obviously need to see a return on this project as soon as possible so to help things along we'll be using compulsory purchase to buy up the land and property that we need.

Here's where our development will cover:

I would move it a wee bitty South - there are only a few hundred Weekers there at the moment and I think also some illegal still place [lol]

I like the idea a lot, Phill, but I think we might have to realign to take in my house for compulsory purchase. When this has been achieved I will hold out for as long as possible saying "but I love it where I live and had hoped to spend the rest of my wretched days there".

This is only Phase 1 Kevin, plenty of scope yet. ;)

Sorry Phill mate, I don't think your plan has any chance of coming to fruition.

Unless...you don't, perchance, have a comedy wig you could wear?

THE WIG! The bloody wig, right, hang on. Let's see what we can do in the budget proposal......

I'm available to fall in line with any big proposal that comes along and to hell with anyone who gets in the way.

Can we have funicular railway running up Shore lane?

That's a fantastic idea, northener.

I was in Bridgnorth this week and I could see how that would work well with the tourists.:Razz

I like the idea Phill but I think politically it could be a bit dodgy. I think (in a quick calculation) the value of the land and property you are proposing to take over could run to 3 even 4 hundred pounds.

Better get a local MP in your pocket, I think Anfield knows one ;)

It's OK, I've got a Nigerian investor, Mr John Nafie Nafie Smith, he's got $billons.
