Has anyone got any different fund raising ideas to the usual bag packing for a football club?

It's very difficult now to raise money other than bag packing and begging tins as due to litigation. Clubs ect leave themselves open to claims if any damage is done to property or someone gets upset. If you set up a car wash some one will complain their car got scratched, a barbarcue will end in food poisoning or other food outlets complaining. no matter what you come up with some kill joy will knock you down.
Probably just better getting parents, relatives to get their hands in their own pockets.
Sorry to sound all doom and gloom but this country gets worse and worse.

u could try charging for membership of club and for training sessions if it is a kids football club.

Bag packing at the supermarket or a Prize bingo raises a lot of money.
