Well it seems the truth will out, though it takes its time. Wakefield has been struck off the register by the BMA.

An interesting summary of the whole fiasco here:

Give it a minute or two, there's bound to be a conspiracy theorist around shortly. They'll sort you out and give you the real story George.

That's actually a brilliant piece of work. Manages to catch all the key issues of greed, stupidity, lies, the media, the conspiracy crew, celebrity endorsement.
I wonder how many of these highly qualified fruitcakes there are in the UK, peddling their twisted research, hiding behind PhD certificates, being paid fortunes and offering only lies in return?
Do we have any here in the County I wonder?

Well done George for sharing this link (http://tallguywrites.livejournal.com/148012.html (http://tallguywrites.livejournal.com/148012.html) ) with us.
I learnt more about this story in 10 minutes reading this than spending a lot more time looking at newspaper articles.

An excellent example of proper investigative journalism. Nice one.

Didn't I say much of what is in your link back in February?

Well done Fred. If we saw more incisiveness like this, more of your sense of humour and less of the relentless pursuit of the unattainable (with associated angst and greeting) we'd all get along much better. :D

Too true. I wonder how long it will take for someone to do proper research on the Anti-Smoking Lobby, with their Passive Smoking nonsense, and all the above is proved there too. But then again, that is not PC at the moment, is it? [evil]

Did you know that Passive Drinking is now being claimed to be even worse than Passive Smoking?

Well I for one have a whole lot of issues with the mmr jab as i ve previously stated, I will admit that first of this docs claims made me think but that stopped long ago I know speak through personal experience.

Quite possibly you did Fred, but I don't always catch everything that's debated here. I was on my hols in February for a week and a half in fact. The link I quoted was actually at the end of another good summary of the whole affair, in yesterday's Torygraph:
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tomchivers/100008226/mmr-autism-scare-so-farewell-then-dr-andrew-wakefield/

Private Eye readers will get the humour of his headline.
