Sunset over Holborn Head

there have been a couple of night this week that have produced wonderful sunsets. Was wandering round Thurso East both times and was able to capture a few photos

No.2 is fabulous. I'd watch for the halo's on No.3 tho

Thanks Deemac, yeah, noticed the haloing around the sun, how do i stop them for happening? change exposure/iso/use filters?

I'm referring to the holo between the sky and the black areas of the image. Either over sharpening or too much filter use.

it will be oversharpening then, seem to go mad with the sharpening tool at times :eek:

no, i go for number 1. Outstanding picture! Dont like that thing in the forground in number 2...
