The weather is improving , the tourists are arriving and more people go up the river for a nice walk and how nice the island in the river looks still covered in the rubbish left after last years bonfire !!!!!!

Yes, it's a disgrace and it should be cleared. Shame it was dammed up in places as I think it looks awful. It would be so much nicer free flowing, once again. :roll:

The Gala Commitee were a couple of years ago going to repair the Island wall.
This did not happen and i doubt it ever will as there money has all Gone(Stolen).

Not stolen its just been borrowed and getting paid back without any interest ;)
