Finally, after about 4 years of waiting, we've been offered dental care at Helmsdale.
What I want to know is do any of you have experience with the dental surgery there?
I'm extremely dental phobic and after being told off by the dentist in Wick a few years ago I'm really concerned about Helmsdales attitude toward phobic patients.
I'm lucky in that I very rarely need any dental work done but I'm assuming that I'm going to have to attend regular appointments in order to stay on their books.
Basically I'm pooping my pants. :(

Hi

The Dentist there is a new one but he seemed fine when the kids went and was also ok with me.

The Dental nurses there are lovely so i am sure if you let them know how you feel it will be ok.

Just remember it is great to have a Dentist, we waited longer than you as the Dental Helpline made a mess of it.

GOOD LUCK

If you're very phobic, you should see your GP for something to calm your nerves. It really helped me through my first couple of visits and now I can go without taking anything.
