There's lots of beautiful wee places around the Caithness coast. The old harbours are a nice place to start, then explore further.
A wee secret favourite of mine is out by Reay, where the Caithness Glass sign used to be. Go down to the coast on the peat track and there's a tiny wee geo with a cave on its left which goes through to the coast. There's a big old rudder bracket from a shipwreck in the cave. :o)

Hi.

Am moving to Halkirk soon and was wondering if this walk would be suitable for taking along my greyhound?

Cheers,
Jennifer

Definitely.

Its on google earth, called puffin cove - there are markers there. The first G E markers on the coast West of Reay.

I saw a light colored car parked there on Saturday so someone was having a nice walk. Beautiful sunshine too.
