I think I'm hooked on You Tube. What stuff I've found. This video is of the excellent Rush doing YYZ, superb musicians all three of them but in particular this features a drum solo by the amazing Neil Peart (I know Deemac will agree), but does he really need all those drums ! ! !

Enjoy

Yes, sorry - Deemac has entered the building . . . .

Rush, one of my all time favourites and initial inspiration to start in the music game (along with Genesis!!)

As Chobbers will testify - You can never have too many drums. Its also good if you can play them all and not just sit posing behind them.

Also, just to bore you a little with detail - The track YYZ is inspired from Toronto Airport (Rush are a Canadian band after all), its the airports international assigned label (just as INV is Inverness's) The track start groove is derived from the morse code for "YYZ" repeated . . .!! Clever Ehh - just thought you might like to know. (The devil's in the detail!!)

PS: recommended viewing if your into Rush - "R30" (30th anniversary DVD, check out all the band interviews)

Deemac has left the building . . . . .
