Unluckily, the march of time keeps on determining our cycles of life and death. Now it is the time to wave goodbye to Bo Hansson, precursor of prog rock in Sweden, he died on April 24th, just a few weeks after his 67th birthday.

His first three albums “Music Inspired by Lord of the Rings”, "Magician’s Hat” and “Attic Thoughts" remain vital in any good progressive collection.

I loved his "Lord of the Rings", played it all the time, and could never work out when they finally made the film, why they did not use his music, it was in my opinion anyway, by far the best.
