were today dissolved through lack of support

This is very Sad but in reality I am not at all surprised.

I am very sad to see this go, particularly as it has been running nearly 40 years. As a young(ish) person in Caithness, I'm 24, I would have loved to have been involved in the organisation and running of this event.

Must admit it is sad, but you do have major competition from the Halkirk Games. I do know of people that thought that the "Caithness Games" were the Halkirk ones.

Mibbees you can get it going again in the future
