If anyone can give me the name of a good computer repair company in or around the Thurso area I would be much appreciated.
My computer has gone to a sleep mode and I can't seem to get it to 'wake up'!! The last message that was on it was from McAfee who I've got my security with about a restore setup which Ididn't think I needed??
Any info would be great.
Thanks

My partner is really good at solving pc problems and anything he does not know his dad does. It's brilliant knowing two computer genius's! :)

If McAfee is the last thing you saw then this (http://forum.caithness.org/showthread.php?p=695892) may well be the problem.

I followed all the instructions and I'm still not getting the computer to work, I've even tried to phone McAfee on the free support number provided but amazingly enough it doesn't work either!!!!!!!!!!
I'm stumped as to what to do next!!??

I've spent all evening and most of this morning but I have done it.......I followed online instructions and they worked so now my computer is working.........Great
Thanks to all the Orgers who recommended computer specialists, I've kept a note of them so incase I need them in the future.
Thanks again.
