Downgrading of Caithness Maternity Services:
The North Action Group is organising a protest rally at Raigmore Hospital on Saturday 15th May around noon.

Buses leave from Wick and Thurso at 9am. There is no charge. After the protest the bus will take people in town for a few hours free time before leaving Inverness at 4pm.

The great Rally on Mothers Day showed that there is massive support for the maternity unit. Please support this protest rally and keep this issue in the national eye.

If you want to reserve a seat on the bus, contact a NAG committee member or Email gobbledegook@ukonline.co.uk

If you're going by car, meet on the lawn at Raigmore Hospital/Perth Road. Bring placards/banners etc.

Ammendment to above notice:

This is an appeal for more people to catch the FREE bus from Thurso and Wick.

To date, response to the demo on Saturday has been disappointing, with more people going by car than have 'signed up' for the bus! If we can get only 2% of those who Rallied on Mothers Day, we'd fill the bus no bother!!

We will have a new banner to display and hopefully this will be caught by the national press.

Bus leaves from Thurso Sir George Street bus stop at 9am, then picking up at Safeway in Wick at around 9.30 before heading off to Inverness. There is no charge. After the protest at 1pm the bus will take people in town for a few hours free time before leaving Inverness at 4pm.
