Last time I saw my wallet it had only ten bob in it.
The wife glowered when I ask to look in "our" wallet. :(

This may let you see why wimmin carry handbags - to lug all those cards (and, in my case, some of my husbands) around!

Seriously tho', do you really need to carry ALL of those cards ALL of the time?? Why do you need 3 credit cards, plus numerous store cards? Have you not heard how much the interest rate on store cards is?

I am thinking of having a microchip inserted -perhaps in my left buttock - and then I will be like a walking barcode. I'll simply go into places, and have a store employee wave an electronic wand over my derriere....

I have carried some form of identity on me most of my 49 years of working life, anything from a Merchant Navy Id, a passport, Royal Navy Reserve Id, HM Customs & Excise Id apart from Royal British Legion and Royal Naval Association cards, the bank cards and store cards that are too many to count.
So I see no harm in a National Identity card scheme, so what are the objections to this system, is it just because it is the present Government that are trying to implement it?

Possibly the only people who dont want an identity card are those with something to hide......

I object to this system and I have nothing to hide.

It’s not the act of carrying an ID card that I have a problem with – I already carry the plastic part of my driving license in my wallet – it’s the way it’s being sold. There’s this crazy notion going around that if we all carry an ID card it will somehow aid the fight against terrorists.

I wonder, can anybody explain how?
