On Saturday afternoon Thurso F.C secured their second piece of silverware, in their third cup final of the season with a 4-2 win against Balintore at Dudgeon Park in Brora. Thurso's goals came from a Jamie MacKenzie double, Ross Sutherland and Nigel MacKenzie, Balintore replied via Gordie Lowe and Tony Farquhar.

In the only league match of the day Golspie Sutherland moved a step closer to the title with a 3-0 win away in Alness.
