I was going to start a thread to have a little rant about car boot sales, but it seems this thread has served it's purpose I thought it appropriate to latch onto to this one.

I don't mind having a quick look around a car boot sale, but if they are busy I get slightly claustrophobic and make a sharp exit.
Mrs M however, loves to spend a great deal of time having a good rummage.

My little moan is that, regardless of the start time as advertised, most of the good gear has gone well before the doors should be open and I am told that the one at Watten yesterday was no exception.

I think if organisers of regular car boot sales want to encourage buyers, they should state to the would be sellers that no money changes hands until the avertised starting time of the sale has passed, at least then they can get set up without being pestered and it gives everyone a fair chance at what is for sale.
