I have a pond in the garden (not huge) and wish to pose a question. Is it possible to operate the pond so that it is clear of silt and still be a wildlife pond? I have been gradually clearing the silt that the previous owner allowed to build up and have found that the fish have been getting fat on the tadpoles and dragonfly larvae.
