Poem For A New Puppy Owner

Don't smell crotches, don't eat plants.
Don't steal food or underpants.
Don't eat my socks, don't grab my hair.
Don't rip the stuffing from that chair!
Don't eat those peas! Don't touch that bush! Don't chew my shoes.
What Is that mush?
Eat your cookies. Drink your drink,
Outta the toilet! Outta the... sink!
Away from the cat box, it's for the cat!
And MUST you kiss me after that?
Yes, raising a puppy, is not for the lazy!
Though puppies are funny, they're also quite crazy.
But don't despair, though its toil and strife.
After three years, you'll get back your life!
So, let's go for "walkies", you can "do your thing"
And perhaps I'll get back my good diamond ring!

Hehehe, amen to that! Lost the remote control for my new telly, a fiver, a whole load of socks and about half a carpet to a pup a good few years back! Sigh, happy days :Razz
I'd still do it again though. Maybe not just yet ;)

When my lab was little he destroyed a bt cable, extension cable, hair straighteners, kitchen table, chairs, plasterboard, unknown quantites of clothes and money, the list goes on.

When he turned three he became the best dog ever.

lol aye, we had shoes up on shelves to keep the dog from them. he is still partial to a sock or two. and undergunders.
he had a go at a paper punch too, til it punched him.

Benjy was the puppy from Hell but is now the most lovely dog who makes me smile very single day.

He's nearly 8 now but still steals and chews up socks,pants and bits of paper.:lol:

I have a dog who is 8 now and still eats the toilet paper :L The other dog i hav is 4 yrs old and likes to dig big holes in the garden a chase our rabbits round their run :L x
