Pizza Express in Inverness does a fantastic chicken and goats cheese salad. I liked it so much I wanted to make it at home but the goats cheese from the supermarket was awful!

It's quite creamy and soft, if you're a cheese fan anyway I'd think you'd like it. I do and I'm picky.

It's quite tangy, and comes in different types - there's a creamy sliceable one like a small camembert, a smooth spreadable one made in Wales that is sold in small logs, loads more if you can find them but those are the main two I think. A little bit in a home made cheese cake is superb :Razz I chuck it on pasta quite often too. Makes lovely salads, especially warmed up with red onion jam. Sometimes an acquired taste by itself but give it a go!

I love Greek Salads, with lots of Feta cheese, can be a little salty for some tastes

URGGHHHHH no, it does smell like the goats themselves.

I do buy Goats yogurt & milk for my dogs though, they absolutley love it.

I do remember having to eat my Alpen with goat's milk in Achmelvich Youth Hostel a good few years back (it's pretty dry, and there was no other option, and I had to re-fuel on a cycling trip).
I've never repeated the experience, and never will![disgust]
